Born and bred a Texan, in BigD (Dallas) – moved to Chicago for college, fell in love with the city, and stayed.
For work/career, I am a Flash designer/developer for 10 plus years, and have designed, built, developed countless web pages, sites, modules, databases, management systems, ad banners, CDs, DVDs and widgets. For the past 8 months or so, I was also, quite happily, teaching Flash – specifically AS 2.0 and AS 3.0 – splattered with quite a few introductory classes for those who are just getting their heads around that cool application.
In my spare time, I love playing volleyball, riding my bike, being outside, drinking coffee, enjoying a beer, and causing general mayhem wherever I can.
I am a musician through and through – I’ve been playing piano for 30+ years, with 18 years of classical training and 20+ years stage/performance/touring experience. I also play the oboe, and have for over 20 years, with about 10 years professional training.
I like to work in order to play, so therefore, I will work diligently, happily as part of a team, and as much as I need to in order to get outside and ride my bike, spike some volleyball, or visit my favorite beer home and drink a small iced coke.
