Have I told you Jon Stewart is my hero before? Yeahhhhh… I know I have…

Look, I’m actually really tired of talking about anything financial, political, or religious. I tire of wasting my breath on any of these topics, as it seems first off, that Fate does indeed have a path laid out before from which we have no option to turn towards, and secondly, there are none, in any of our leadership positions, gained legally or illegally, that would actually stand up and say something they truly believed in. That being said, were they to finally come forth truthfully, the horror that would seep from their mouths would somehow manage to ease into the ears of those listening in such a way as to garner no action or reaction to the ugly manifestation before them.

In other words, honesty showing itself in Washington would be men finally admitting they were only there for themselves, and for the power they hoped to gain.

There is no true leader in existence on the political stage who would have even a hair’s breadth of a chance to incite change for the benefit of the community.

Yes. All three of these topics weigh me down – and so therefore I turn to one who has the capability to find humor where I find sadness, and once again bring a mischievous glint to my eye and a laugh to my somberness.

Here is a clip comparing two separate speeches by our national headsore….

So one of my all time fave male actors, if not my fave male actor, Johnny Depp, is once again teaming up with Tim Burton, who I also love, and will be taking the part of a character I’ve always loved and tended to be able to most relate to in Alice in Wonderland….

The Mad Hatter. That’s right. Johnny Depp will be the Mad Hatter. [short article here]

I was already the Mad Hatter for my sister’s 30th birthday. [shortest video here] [pic here]

And for my sister’s benefit, here are shots from the set, showing the girl who’s playing Alice and some of the cool costuming already evident. Did I say I loved Tim Burton? Yeah. Everyone should. He GETS it.

Thanks to a friend of a friend, there is now quite a funny drinking game specifically tailored for tonight’s debate! I converted it from Word to standard PDF, so everyone should be able to read the rules and print the “buzz cards” just fine. Original author was Danielle Long, who I have no clue ( I don’t think?) who she is, but she’s a friend twice removed.

UPDATED: maybe if I actually upload and POST the damn thing, everyone could play. Schmartness, that’s what that was…. Download Debate Drinking Game

NOW GO WATCH THE DEBATE AND DRINK!!!!!

psst! Happy Friday!
